We frequently receive requests from parents that attend school Facebook 101 presentations to deliver the same workshop for colleagues at their workplace.
We’re thrilled to introduce a special “Social Web 101″ workshop designed specifically for employees and managers, presented at your office. We’ve found that although everyone in the corporate setting has a business role to fulfill, many are parents – with their personal Facebook and Social Media concerns around their own, and their child’s’ safety and privacy. And many employees, from the corner office to the mail room, are being disciplined and fired on a regular basis as a result of their compromising Facebook behaviour and postings.
The Social Web 101 Corporate workshop is roughly 70 minutes in length (including time for Q&A) and brings to your office critical information on defining appropriate employee behaviour on Social Networks. For the parents in the room, the workshop addresses the real-world impact that sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr will have on their kids’ lives, including how their Facebook profiles will influence their career, and current and future life opportunities. Finally, you’ll walk away with a clear understanding of how to identify and apply Facebook’s basic, advanced and hidden privacy settings to take control of your Social Networking experience.
